prix.

"We are 4 months into the rainy season and it has not rained yet. The
drought is causing major problems at Abundant Love Children’s Home. The usual
source of water for the home is a small artificial lake from which they pump
and filter the water. This lake has dried up and they are now obliged to pump
water from a bigger lake which belongs to the municipality. This bigger lake is
also half dry and is contaminated with sewage from a few surrounding houses.
The water we are able to pump from it is very brown, muddy and full of bacteria
and the filters are not able to clean it adequately.
We have been buying clean water for
cooking, drinking and washing teeth but the kids still use the brown water to
shower. The consequence of this is that they are getting sick. Every mosquito
bite or little scratch is getting infected. We have 178 kids on campus and no
clean water. Please pray and please send donations so we can keep buying
drinking water. As you may imagine the whole district is now buying drinking
water so the prices have gone up.
Pastor Cavell Rowsell and Pastor
Tongin are looking into possible solutions for sand filtering the lake water
but every solution has a price.
Please pray this is urgent.
Thank you again for your support in prayer.
